When

The Branch meets on the first Tuesday of each month (except January).

Meetings commence at 7.30 pm and allow time for a short formal meeting, a good chat over a cup of tea or coffee, and some form of entertainment which might include a speaker on a maritime theme, a DVD or a presentation.

Where

The Branch meets at the Port Education Centre which is located on the city side of the Harbour Control tower in:

                    Lorimer Street
                    Port Melbourne

There is plenty of free off-street parking.

The Port Ed Centre is owned and operated by the Port of Melbourne Corporation who kindly make both the venue and the facilities available to the Branch. Included in the first class facilities are computers for presentations, a DVD player, inbuilt overhead projectors and a public address system that ensures that everybody can see and hear what is going on.

One of the outstanding attractions of the venue is its location on the river, almost opposite Swanson Dock, so most meetings see a temporary adjournment while everyone heads outside to the veranda to watch a ship pass by.
